Ian Douglas, Principal
Principal Ian Douglas has been around boats since the early seventies in Gisborne New Zealand, starting out like many Kiwi yachtsmen doing club and coastal races on a variety of yachts.
Moving to the UK in the late seventies, Ian joined Jaguar Yachts UK on their boat show sales team and after a particularly healthy order book following the London Boat Show, he was appointed Marketing Manager.
Ian and his wife Jenny later moved to Greece to manage a charter fleet of 40 yachts based in Corfu. Together they undertook some mediterranean cruising, before returning to New Zealand and then on to Australia in 1989, where Ian purchased Mooloolaba Yacht Brokers in 1994 and has owned and operated it since then.
